Your support for the ECA Foundation on Erie Gives Day, August 11, 2026, will enable the Foundation to continue to address areas of concern throughout the cemeteries such as the aging tree canopy. An inventory of the trees is necessary to identify those trees that are at risk and in turn preventing damage caused by falling trees or limbs.
Our mission is to serve as a nonprofit partner for the Erie Cemetery Association.
- To preserve, protect and promote in perpetuity the art, culture, history and natural beauty of the Erie Cemetery, Laurel Hill Cemetery and Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery
- To educate the public on the historic significance of these cemeteries and their residents.
- To provide enhancements to the facilities, monuments, and grounds that go beyond the Erie Cemetery Association’s normal responsibilities
